On 6 April I was sitting in my bed watching tv. As usual. It was after dark. Raining and windy. There was an ominous noise outside. I got up, went out onto the porch. I could vaguey see that one of the ~100' poplars in my yard had blown down!
I am very sad to lose the poplars! They were a big part of why I bought 1721 Hopkins St in 1970...
To my great dismay, I've discovered that I have only marginal snapshots of my fine poplar trees! But here are a few snapshots. If anyone has any photos PLEASE contribute them!
